An important principle to learn during these lessons is that all people have the power to accomplish great things when their heart is in it. However, that power is limited if it replaces or comes before a love for God . Real passion and enthusiasm is magnified when the love of God comes first, before all other pursuits.

- In Lesson VIII, you learned about a beaver. Draw a picture of beaver or family of beavers to put in your nature journal. Write a few sentences about the beaver.
- Copy work: Write the following verse of scripture in your best handwriting. Share it with someone you care about or display it on a bulletin board or refrigerator for the next few weeks.
- Journal: Write some ideas about how you can show love for God and love for others. Practice these ideas for three weeks and write you experiences in your journal.
