Allow 3 weeks for this lesson: McGuffey Second Reader Lessons XXXVII, XXXVIII, XXXIX, XL
In the stories for this unit, we read about good works and goodness within the heart. Mary and Charles learned how small children can do good and provide kind service even while they are playing. The fox learned that when he was focused on doing his job and providing service, he was protected. Even a ferocious lion demonstrated goodness and a protective instinct in his heart for someone he came to trust.
What kind of goodness can you provide in the world? This Create and Share project is more about action than a written product. Each day for the next week find a way to share goodness. Record your experience in a personal journal.
